A basket of fresh delights awaits you today. Head over the hills to Grasse, home of French perfume, or south to the coast and the colourful streets of Nice. Take your seat at The Grill at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc suspended over the sea, where the blue waves lap the rocks below and catch of the day is infused with freshness.

Morning

Scents and spirituality Grasse is a beautiful town where the perfume industry has flourished since the 17th century. Famed for its museum dedicated to the history and future of fragrance, you can learn the secrets behind the industry and view exquisite exhibits including Grecian bottles and 18th-century Venetian-inspired glass vessels. The town also has a fine cathedral with an impressive collection of religious art including works by Rubens.

Lunch & Afternoon

Fresh Nice If you prefer, head south to refresh your eyes on the riot of natural beauty at the Saleya flower market in Nice, every day except Mondays. Stroll along the palm lined Promenade des Anglais or the labyrinth of narrow streets in Vieux Nice lined with red, yellow and ochre Baroque facades. Visit the Matisse and Chagall museums or sip a cassis by the Baie des Anges.

Dine above the sea Visit our sister property, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, for a seat at the Eden-Roc Grill, where catch of the day and crustaceans are infused by the fresh sea air. The sky is blue, the Lérins Islands are on the horizon and the blue waves lap onto the rocks below.

Day 3

A day of exploration starts with the charming hilltowns of Saint-Paul de Vence, Mougins and Eze, and the landscapes where Picasso, Matisse and Chagall found inspiration. Return for lunch at L'Oliveraie before heading to the historic coastal town of Antibes.
