Conservation efforts
Certfication
Prior to opening we will partner with Green Keys or Green Globe to help guide us through our sustainability process and help ensure we are meeting or exceeding their standards and the pristine standards or the Oetker Hotels.
Food & Beverage
Sourcing local and seasonal produce, meats and seafoods from neighboring boutique farms, growers, and markets is the core of our F&B sustainability programs. Additionally, an onsite food cycler will process our food waste and convert it into a usable compost material to be utilized by local Kai Kai Farms to fortify their soil and crops. The Vineta will incorporate a glass crusher that safely breaks the glass back into usable sand resulting in many repurposes including Kai Kai Farms enhancing their walking paths and partnering with a local contractor adding it to their cement mix.
Celebrating the Sea Turtles!
Sea Turtle nesting season in Palm Beach County is March 1 – November 1. Hundreds of nests are on the sands of Palm Beach County with over two million hatchlings. By educating our guests, joining them on beach walks, experiencing hatchling dig-outs and we can help support the beauty and conservations of our longest seasonal guests.
Giving Bag
To repurpose and give new life to lost and found items throughout the guest rooms and hotel, the Giving Bag program collects left behind guest items and donations, plus optimizes the on-site lost & found disposal process by distributing items to local charities. Guests appreciate the sustainable and charitable manner to give their items away.
