Chelsea Flower Show x Fettercairn
In celebration of Chelsea Flower Show, which rings in the beginning of the British summer social season, The Garden Room Terrace presents a cocktail collaboration with Fettercairn, the award-winning Highland single malt Scotch whisky distillery.
Fettercairn will be at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show with a balcony garden inspired by the whisky ageing process. Created in partnership with garden designer May Starey, 'Fettercairn: The Angels’ Share' traces the liquid journey from the foothills of the Cairngorm mountains to the copper still and oak cask and finally upward, as the elusive vapour lost to evaporation that distillers have long called the Angels' Share. The garden blends the story of Fettercairn’s whisky with the beauty of Scotland’s flora. This garden is a tribute to the landscapes that shape the whisky and the delicate balance of nature and craftsmanship.
Guests are invited to experience two bespoke cocktails, each crafted to reflect the freshness, floral complexity, and seasonal spirit of the show - with a distinctive Highland twist. 'Ghost Garden' is a striking take on the classic Paper Plane cocktail, a refreshing blend of Fettercairn 12 year old, Aperol, St Germain liqueur, Chartreuse and Supasawa; whilst the 'Highland Bramble' combines rich berry sweetness with the signature tropical character of Fettercairn 12 year old.
