An exclusive wine dinner at The Lanesborough, which celebrated one of the most iconic estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Jules Coppier was joined by Daniel Brunier, co-owner and fourth generation of the family-run Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe, one of Châteauneuf-du-Pape's most celebrated wineries. Guests enjoyed a convivial evening with fellow wine lovers, with a four-course menu by The Lanesborough's Executive Chef Shay Cooper, paired with some of the estate’s most celebrated cuvées, including the distinguished La Crau 2020, poured from a very rare Double Magnum bottle for the special evening.

As part of their exciting wine programme for 2025, The Lanesborough presentes a wine tasting event with Veuve Clicquot, hosted by The Lanesborough's head sommelier Jules Coppier and a Veuve Clicquot Champagne Ambassador. Founded in Reims in 1772, the House of Veuve Clicquot remains true to its motto: “Only one quality, the finest.” In 1805, Madame Clicquot took the reins of the House and became one of the first businesswomen of modern times, acquiring the epithet “la grande dame of Champagne.” Her visionary spirit and innate sense of French “art de vivre” live on today. Her iconic cuvée, Brut Yellow Label, is synonymous with more than two centuries of know-how and an exceptional heritage. The colour of the sun, it symbolises the values of audacity and optimism that the House has carried for 250 years. Guests where invited to mingle with fellow wine lovers and explored four exceptional Veuve Clicquot cuvées with canapés.

Based in the Garden of England, their world class winemaking team produce award-winning sparkling wines of exceptional quality. Fresh and crisp, guests joined Thomas Overgaard-Brown from Chapel Down and Jules Coppier, The Lanesborough's Head Sommelier, to raise a glass of England’s finest.

For The Lanesborough hotel's wine dinner series, which showcases some of England's and Europe's finest winemakers, we proudly presented a Champagne Dinner with Ruinart. Maison Ruinart, founded in 1729, is the oldest established Champagne house, based in Reims, France. With a rich history of over 290 years, Ruinart is known for its unwavering dedication to craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainability. The house's distinctive style is defined by its signature use of Chardonnay, which lends its champagnes exceptional finesse, purity, and freshness. Ruinart’s legacy continues to shine through its elegant approach, blending tradition with forward-thinking artistry in every bottle. This event, hosted by Mateusz Kowalczyk, Ruinart Champagne Ambassador, began with a Champagne reception with Ruinart Blanc de Blancs and canapés, before guests enjoy an exquisite three-course dinner of seasonal, modern British dishes by The Lanesborough hotel's Executive Chef Shay Cooper.
