L'Eau du Château

Maison Godet
Founded in Grasse by Julien-Joseph Godet at the beginning of the 20th century, the House has always rooted its creations in a dialogue with the art of its time. In 1908, Godet created Fleurs de Reine for Pierre Bonnard’s wife, the first fragrance to experiment with cold enfleurage of tuberose. In 1925, Folie Bleue, inspired by the violet of Tourrettes-sur-Loup, was awarded the Prix des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
Today, Sonia Godet, the founder’s great-granddaughter, continues this legacy of excellence between the ateliers still located in Grasse and Saint-Paul de Vence, where the boutique is located at 98 Rue Grande.
One must wander gently through the trails of L'Eau du Château to discover its poetic and sensual aesthetic.

The perfume
The fragrance created for Château Saint-Martin & Spa draws its inspiration from the hotel’s gardens. In its opening notes, grapefruit, bergamot, and lemon leaf unveil a radiant, invigorating freshness, echoing the verdant vitality of the landscape, the timeless strength of the estate, and the rejuvenating spirit embodied by the Spa by La Prairie.
It then unfolds like a quiet poem, where Mediterranean horizons meet alcoves softly draped in peonies and intoxicating jasmine. At its heart, as though a hidden jewel, lies the delicate freshness of a powdery, orange-tinted rose: Rose Tango.
