All Is Fluid

In dialogue with Marshall Berman’s All That Is Solid Melts into Air, All Is Fluid turns modernity’s promise of perpetual transformation toward the present, where artificial intelligence and networked technologies are reshaping how we live, perceive, and make art. The exhibition gathers Emi Kusano, Saeko Ehara, David Young, and Derech in a moment of societal transition, one in which the boundaries between the human and the machine, the material and the immaterial, are increasingly unsettled.

With a particular presence of artists from Asia, the show considers how technology is woven into distinct cultural and social contexts, resisting any single account of the digital present. All Is Fluid reflects on change as a shared condition at the heart of society, one we must learn to accept as we collectively shape our lives in an increasingly technological world.
